It's a pretty good scale for $23. I think its pretty accurate in weight and in the fat measurement. Sometime its annoying when I get an error sign but I just tap the scale with my toe for it to go to 0.0 and then get on and its fine. Now I did find that sometimes if i weight myself on part of the room and then pick up the scale and put it in another spot it might give a different number. It's not a big difference but not sure why that would happen. So I just go to another room altogether and see what it says.
Also it does seem a bit fragile since its glass and the way the base is built so I don't just get on it any kind of way. So other than that and the error sign its a good scale especially for the price.

Scale # 1 did not work for measuring body fat. .....4 phone calls to Taylor, inumerable positions and reprogramming, etc. After 3 days I took it back. Bought another. Dumb mistake. Just as bad as the first. Plus, it had been programmed---what's up with that? It must have been a used scale, right? Taylor ppl says no.
First the scale does not read anything further than my weight. Not bodyfat or water content. Next day it says Error 5--so the Taylor ppl tell me the scale can't read my body fat or water content. Need more water.
So next day I drink 7 cups and the scale that nite still can't read my water or bodyfat number. Taylor ppl says I drank too much water.
So next day the Taylor ppl says I must drink 2 C. water one hour before weighing. So I did. Still nothing.
By now this fiasco has gone on for 8 days. So when I once again call Taylor for help, she tells me to change the height up 4 inches taller than the reality--I am 5'7"--I had to...Read more

Our office has a scale for our weightloss program. Of all 39 of us, there are 6 African Americans in our group. It worked for all Caucasians but did not work for African Americans! Not sure what that's about but can only guess African American skin is thicker or something like that. I must admit, I have not tried any other body fat scales yet so this may be a problem with all of them.
