All Taylor body fat analyzers utilize the BIA method of analyzing fat- bio electrical impedance analysis -the most accurate method. A harmless electrical signal flows from one foot, through the body and back down to the other foot, registering the impedance between the fat and muscle. Taylor body fat analyzers also use 4 contact points to get better reliability. The readout is set up so both the body fat percent and the weight readings will be displayed at the same time. The screen also shows if you are within the correct body fat range as well. In addition, the scale calculates body water hydration percent, a critical measure of health. Other features include 4 memories, accurate to 350 lb, percent reading to the 0.1%, and weight readings to the 0.2 lbs. 5 year warranty

I love this scale so much. Once you get the hand of it it is so easy to use. The weight is accurate (I have weighed myself 10 times in a row and still got the same number). The results come up fast on the screen and I love the graph that it shows when you measure fat. This scale is great and not too expensive! Definitely worth the money!

I was very disappointed with this product, I ended up returning it. The BMI and water content components of this are very irritating. They kept reading error messages - no matter how many times I wiped my feet and left a bit of moisture on them (as the directions said to). Also, the weight scale kept changing, I would get on it once, get my weight, then an error message for BMI, get off, wipe my feet and then when I stepped back on it - get a different weight measurement and still have the error message for BMI. This happened over and over again.

It needs to be calibrated every single time, so you have to stand on it twice. Mine lasted for two years only before the settings feature became erratic. Taylor won't be selling me a replacement.
