The 5568f body fat scale by Taylor combines clean design with functional features. It will give you an estimateof your body fat and body water percentages and your muscle mass and bone mass percentages to 0.1% graduation. These percentages,along with your weight,are displayed on a 1.9 inch LCD dual line readout. The cal-max feature calculates how many calories to consume daily to maintain your current weight. Consume fewer calories and lower your weight.there is also an athlete mode option for those individuals who constantly train at least three times a week, 2 hours each time. The 5568 farenheit has a weight only mode for times you just want to get a weight reading. The silver abs and stainless steel platform has a weight capacity up to 350 pounds/160kg and has a 12 user memory. The scale can display weight readings in npounds or kg in increments of .2 pounds/.1 kg. The 5568 farenheit has a 5 year warranty and runs on onebrand name battery (provided). I've had this scale for about 3 months now and can say its the best one I've ever had. Not that I've gone through a great number of scales but the amount of information this provides is really cool. Easy to use.

I've been using this scale for a few years now. During that time my body composition has changed significantly. I can say with certainty that the body fat measurement part of this scale is not very accurate, HOWEVER, it is fairly consistent. If you weigh yourself three times, you might get a bodyfat reading that's +/- ~0.3% each time.

It's important to note that this scale measures your bodyfat electronically. That means if you eat or drink anything that gets included in the number. It's not uncommon to see the BF percentage jump several points after a meal- that doesn't mean you gained a ton of fat. Everything in your body is accounted for, including waste that's yet to be eliminated.

In any case, if you weigh yourself under the same conditions every time, you should be able to notice a trend in the body fat measurements. The other information the scale provides is interesting as well- the hydration level, muscle mass, and calories needed to maintain...Read more

Scale part works, but the body fat monitor doesn't. Save your money and buy a $15 set of calipers.
